Okay, so I tried the Hershey's with Corn Bits and believe it or not, it's really yummy! It's similar to crisped rice, like a Nestle's Crunch, only the bits are smaller and crunchier. But I have to say, I don't think it's going to do very well with that name. It makes me think of corn niblets covered in chocolate. Yuck. If I named it, I'd call it something like Hershey's with Krispee Krunchees.
I've had a few corn flake/chocolate products (Ritter Sport makes a good bar) and I really like the combo.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely needs a better name! Reminds me of the Creamy Corn hard candies I had once ... that tasted like Creamed Corn.
Ugh. For some reason corn nuts came to mind. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteI had some Taiwanese jelly/gummi candy that tasted of corn....shaped like one too!
Yeeeahhh, I wonder what that looks like if it melts a little... or maybe I don't.
ReplyDeleteI just found this bar at a dollar store recently. I had never heard of this bar before, so I decided to try it and I enjoyed it. I agree that it needs a better name and I like the fact that it's Crunch-esque without feeling like a ripoff (Krackel, anyone?).
