The Inside Story


Update on the fancy chocolates that Memaw brought back from Paris: the grape cluster was filled with ... (wait for it!)...


gianduja (chocolate hazelnut paste).


Somewhat of a disappointment, really. I was hoping for something more snazzy, like maybe a cabernet jelly or even just a raspberry liquid. Oh well. I'll hold out hope for the disc and the thing that looks like a meringue pie.

Please forward all hazelnut paste candies to me in the future. Hey, your carrot cake is hanging in my dining room. It has almost recovered from Thanksgiving dinner with my family.

Oh, don't get me wrong... I enjoy hazelnut paste as much as the next gal. It just seemed kind of weird tucked into a bunch of grapes.
