Candy is the Universal Currency

Sheesh, things are getting expensive.* I shipped out four boxes of candy yesterday and it cost almost $50! But hey, it's a small price to pay to share the candy love. I sent out the Tootsie Pop Drops to the lucky Yumsters, and I also sent a box of American goodies to my new friend City, also known as the New Zealand Cupcake Queen. We're doing a candy exchange. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. I told her how I've been fascinated by Perky Nanas ever since I heard about them, so she said she'd send me one! Woohoo! Then she also mentioned Jaffas and Pineapple Lumps. Seriously, don't they just sound fantastic?
While I was searching for a picture of the Perky Nanas, I also came across this Canadian product: Chris & Larry's Clodhoppers. I brought a bunch of these back from the All-Candy Expo a few years ago and they were so, so yummy. I had forgotton about them until now. I seem to remember that they were like chocolate-covered Bugles, although the package says graham crunch. Mmmmm. I wish I had some right now, but they're not available in the U.S. So sad.

*And it's not just me that says so. Check out Sue MKAFFGGF's rant at Hops & Chops.

We actually have the Clodhoppers in the downstairs vending machine- very common around here. And yummy!

If you'd like a bag, let me know and I'll throw one in the mail for you - it would absolutely be no problem.

I agree that the candy postage isn't cheap but it is SO worth it. I love my package!!! I'm addicted to Reeces Whipps now :-) Thank you so much Patti. I'm about to put some pics up on Flickr and on my blog :-) Hope your Perky Nanas come soon!
