Take a look at my chocolate vine! Mr. Goodbar keeps insisting that it's really a weed and not the chocolate vine that was growing at Memaw's house, but I know the truth. Oh yeah, baby, soon enough it'll start sprouting mini chocolate bars and I'm not going to share any with him.

What you have there is a weed, "pigweed" to be precise. But, truth be told- it is an edible weed that is actually quite good for you. I wouldn't go so far to say it would be delicious like a vine that sprouted chocolate bars, but it doesn have some anti-oxidant properties. Pigweed getting a lot of press because it's very high in omega threes or something like that. It has even been featured in fancy food magazines including Savuer. They suggest making a soup of it, but I would rather just throw some in a mixed green salad and be done with it. It is still a weed afterall.
